The money will, among other things, go to reducing the fuel tax and increasing housing benefits for families with children.
The fuel tax on diesel and petrol will be temporarily reduced to the lowest permitted level in accordance with EU regulations, from June to October 2022.
In addition, the government proposes to introduce a one-off subsidy of 1,000 Swedish kroner to all private individuals who own a car. For car owners who live in sparsely populated and rural areas, the one-off support will be NOK 1,500.
Climate bonus
The allocation for the climate bonus is also on the list. Thus, a person who buys an electric car will still be able to receive 70,000 Swedish kroner in financial support.
The tax cut will reduce the pump price by about NOK 1.30 per liter. The government also wants the upper distance limit in the new travel deduction to be increased significantly.

In addition, the electricity price compensation will be extended by another month in southern and central Sweden.
