Swallowing car key is fatal to Dutchman in Barcelona | Inland

Barcelona authorities said in a statement that the man was on holiday in the Catalan city with his family. According to the statement, the man was beside himself and caused a stir in the supermarket late Thursday night.

Shortly after the police came to the supermarket, the Dutchman lost consciousness. The officers tried to resuscitate the man. A medical team assisted and got the man to spit out the key. The Dutchman was then rushed to a hospital. There he died in the night from Thursday to Friday at 2.15 am
