■Personal comment
I never expected my adventure in Japan to last so long after the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Japan has now become my second home and I am very much looking forward to a new challenge at an ambitious club like Fagiano Okayama.
I remember being really moved by the Okayama fans during the away games in the 2022 season.
Discussions with the club have been very positive and they have shown me special gratitude and respect. In the end, I chose this club because its ambition and vision matched what I was aiming for.
I’m really looking forward to combining the playing philosophies of Germany and Japan and bringing out the best in each other. Of course, I would like to learn a lot of new things and share my experience with the team.
I would also like to work together to create a positive atmosphere in which each and every player at Fagiano Okayama can do their best to win at any time.
