Suspicious packages in Zandvoort, Nijmegen and Almere | Inland

The explosive in Almere was found in a front yard on the Fijistraat. The Explosives Clearance Service Defense (EOD) is on site to render the explosive harmless. A police spokesman does not know exactly what kind of explosive it is. It is also unclear whether this is a targeted action. The evacuees from the evacuated houses are received.

In Nijmegen, a possible explosive device lies under a viaduct on the Neerbosscheweg. The viaduct has been closed, the area closed off and the EOD has been activated, according to the Gelderland police.

Explosives scouts also investigated in Zandvoort because of a suspicious package at a car on Vondellaan. No explosive was found. The police took the car and the location was released.
