DRUMMONDVILLE – The Sûreté du Québec has opened an investigation after a woman died in hospital after being found seriously injured on Monday in a residence on rue Pinard in Drummondville.
It was a citizen, friend of the victim, who contacted the police shortly after 9 a.m., saying she was worried about the woman.

When they arrived, the SQ patrollers found the woman, in her fifties, in critical condition, inanimate.

He was later pronounced dead in hospital.

A man in his thirties was at the scene of the event, according to information provided by Sergeant Claude Denis. “He is met by investigators,” said Sergeant Denis.
