Awarded the Oscar for “Dead Man Walking” and star of the film “Thelma & Louise”, Susan Sarandon also sang the chorus “from the river to the sea” with which the protesters call for the elimination of the State of Israel and the creation of a Palestinian state that extends, precisely, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean. It is also a rallying cry used by Hamas, which is why it is seen by many as a real one anti-Semitic appeal to the destruction of the Jewish state.
Sarandon had been followed by the agency for almost ten years. He explained how his father, a professor, was able to obtain a professorship, while his mother was able to not wear the headscarf and open a business in Morgantown, West Virginia: “Please don’t vilify America for life – and the freedoms – it offers Muslims”. For the moment, Sarandon has not released a statement on the dismissal.
