On November 11, Vinh Phuc Provincial Police transferred Nguyen Van Tam (36 years old) from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Phuc to investigate murder.
Nguyen Van Tam is the suspect who murdered his wife and wrapped it in plastic bags and sacks in Tien Chau ward, Phuc Yen city, Vinh Phuc province.
Tam’s initial testimony showed that due to suspicion that his wife, Ms. DTH, had someone else, after the couple argued, Tam strangled Ms. H, leading to her death.
After murdered his wifeTam fled the locality and traveled by plane to Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City.
At around 12:30 on November 10, people discovered a foul smell coming from the house in Tan Loi village, Tien Chau ward, Phuc Yen city, so they checked.
After checking, people were shocked to discover that the body was in a state of severe decomposition wrapped in plastic bags and sacks hidden under the bed.
Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene to examine the body, take witness statements, and investigate to clarify the case.
Using professional measures, the police determined that the victim’s husband was the perpetrator. The Working Group of the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to arrest Tam who was hiding in this area.
