Al-Marsad Newspaper: Sudan’s White Nile Court of Appeal announced today (Thursday) the annulment of the judicial sentence handed down for stoning a 20-year-old Sudanese girl accused of adultery.
A source said, according to “Sky News Arabia,” that the court has decided to return the documents to examine the case in light of the legal requirements it had established to hear more data.
Interestingly, the White Nile State Criminal Court handed down a death sentence by stoning last June against the girl, who had previously separated from her husband in 2020, after which it accused her of doing sex outside of marriage.
