Clinical nutrition and mental health consultant Asmaa Al-Dahdouh warned against exposure to psychological trauma, pointing out that it is the cause of many organic diseases.

Al-Dahdouh said in an interview with “The Week”: that people suffer psychological trauma for various reasons,

Either from the loss of a loved one, or from severe emotional disappointment, or from repeated frustrations, or from shocks with money from work or trade.

He added: Any surprise followed by strong and unusual feelings is considered a shock, stored in the unconscious mind and causing a series of emotional consequences of physical pain…or a different state of mind…a view of life that does not it is the same , a change in sleep patterns… insomnia or long hours of sleep A change in appetite for food, either by abstaining from it or gluttony in its request… Excessive sensitivity towards the words of others.

Al-Dahdouh indicated that the inability to return to life normally, or even difficulty performing daily activities or performing them without spirit, are sure signs of exposure to trauma.

He explained that some believe he has overcome his trauma, but is surprised otherwise when he is exposed to any stimulus or factor that awakens the characteristics of the trauma within him.

And mental health counselor, Asmaa Al-Dahdouh, says: But this is what I see in many of the repeated mistakes in the cases of many of my followers, negative experiences and repeated divorces, followed by a self-confrontation, or victory and change for another person, or plunge into darkness and die alive… And he adds With different reasons.
