After it became clear that none of the members of the current jury in the culinary show “Masterchef” will return, bTV will take advantage of winners from previous seasons to enter this role, claims “Weekend”.
The most discussed names are Maria Zhekova, who won the last broadcast so far season 7, and the vegetarian Sevda Dimitrova, who won the second edition of the culinary show. It is planned to have a professional who was not a participant in the show.
In recent months, the winner of season 7 – Maria, has been subscribed to participate in BTV shows. In addition to constantly watching the video in which she invites new candidates for culinary fame to the casting for the show, the young woman often shows recipes in various sections on television.
Her last participation so far was in “Before noon” last Monday, when she told what she spent the 100 thousand levs won in “Masterchef”. It turns out that she gave them for water supply to her house in the Rhodopean village, where she lives all alone. There was no water supply network there and she had to use water from neighbors who “caught” her from a nearby river. However, Maria paid for two and a half kilometers of water supply to her home, so now she enjoyed the convenience of running the tap whenever she wanted, and always running clean water from there.
The other one who is expected to join the jury of “Masterchef” this fall is Sevda Dimitrova. She is extremely popular with fans of the form and over the years has proven her loyalty to BTV. After winning the show, she opened her own restaurant, where she often welcomed people from television, including for her official corporate events.
In addition, it is known that Sevda maintains close contact with boss Andre Tokev, who, although in prison, retains his influence on television. However, Dimitrova’s problem is that she stubbornly refuses to eat meat and fish. He can’t enter the jury of the form without tasting the meat and fish specialties that the participants prepare. That is why it is possible that he will eventually drop out of the jury.
The third judge in the form is the Italian Marco Luciari, who is one of the most frequent guests on BTV since Andre Tokev exposed himself while driving drunk. It was considered in the jury to invite the winner of season 6 – Ivaylo Spasov, who wanted to open his own dungeon shop.
However, the fans of the form do not like him and because of their negative comments on the official pages of the show, his candidacy was dropped. Radka Bulman from season 5 dropped out for the same reason, and with Bozhana Katsarova from the third edition of the show no one on BTV wanted to work because they consider her unstable, disorganized and incorrect. It is known that she took part in the reality show “VIP Brother” on Nova TV after leaving “Masterchef”. The other winners of the culinary show are very unattractive and there is rarely a spectator who remembers them. That is why it would be difficult for them to get back in shape, especially as part of the jury.
According to information, the new jury has already been selected, but the contracts have not been signed yet, so it is possible to make changes. The beginning of the shooting of the upcoming season 8 is in November.
