Dr. Naji Farag, Advisor to the Minister of Supply for Gold Industry Affairs, revealed the details of the production of the first gold ingot from the Iqat mine in the Eastern Desert. Which was discovered during the month of June 2022.

Most notably, the Sukari mine, which contains 12 million ounces of gold, pointing out that the Iqat mine contains one million ounces of gold.

It is the adopted currency around the world, pointing out that the rise in strategic reserves of gold gives strength to the Egyptian pound.
Faraj explained that the gold extraction processes must be carried out by Egyptian hands, stressing that gold ore is present and available in several Egyptian regions. And in partnership with the national companies in extraction; This will have a good effect on the astrology sector in Egypt.
