PEC Zwolle is busy with the arrival of Rico Strieder. The FC Utrecht midfielder is currently undergoing medical examinations at the MAC3Park Stadium.
Report that The Telegraph, Soccer International, it Algemeen Dagblad and the Stentor Monday evening. Utrecht will lease Strieder to PEC until the end of the season. The German midfielder (27) barely came into action under John van den Brom. He played 161 minutes, spread out over five league games.
Strieder has been playing at Utrecht since 2015 and came to Domstad with Erik ten Hag. The two collaborated with each other in the Bayern Munich team. Strieder was the basic player in his first and third years, but then came less and less into action. It must be said that Strieder was on the side for a long time with a cruciate ligament injury.
Strieder still has a contract with Utrecht until 2021. Utrecht already rented Patrick Joosten to Sparta and stored Giovanni Troupée at FC Twente.
