The news: the extension to 2023 and the green light for the facility also for the home with amnesty in progress
The extension of the Superbonus to 110% until 2023 is not included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, but Prime Minister Draghi, speaking in the Chamber on April 27, explained that the measure is one of the fundamental economic elements for the recovery of the country and for this must be simplified and extended, by committing to insert the resources to cover up to the end of 2023 in the Budget law.
However, as regards the maneuver, the accounts can only be done in December, which could slow down the measure in the second half of the year. Here then the senators of the M5S in a joint note explain that they want to start “studying alternative routes to the maneuver”, because there would be “the space to identify in other offices the funds necessary to finance the extension”.
In the meantime, it is up to the decree law on simplifications, which the government will approve in May to support the implementation of the NRP, devote a chapter to the Superbonus. In fact, the draft speaks of streamlining procedures and making it easier for condominiums to access the incentive who request it with the Ministry of Ecological Transition, which essentially gives a green light even to those who have in progress “building amnesty applications“. The goal is to prevent any «Irregularities» referable to «a single real estate unit» prevent the other apartments to acquire the certification of “legitimate state” and thus access the Superbonus. However, if the request for amnesty is subsequently rejected, the draft reads, the revocation of the facilities would be triggered. But there is more: in the draft of the Investments decree, approved on April 29 by the CDM, it is established that condominiums can take advantage of the Superbonus for the whole of 2022 without the need to have completed at least 60% of the works by June, as it was expected so far.
