Sulmona, stabs his wife and attempts suicide – Chronicle

Corfinio (L’Aquila), 28 June 2020 – He killed the wife stabbed and then has attempted to kill himself with the same weapon, but without success. Yet another femicide it happened to Corfinio, in the province of L’Aquila, where the woman – Maria Pia Reale, 68 years old – was known and respected by everyone and where she had been a teacher for years. The killer, Enrico Marrama, 70, had returned home yesterday after a period of hospitalization in the San Salvatore dell’Aquila hospital. In evening one would have broken out between the two lite, then continued also this morning, then the man attacked his wife and killed her. Immediately afterwards Marrama attempted to commit suicide by sticking the knife in his chest. The man who was rescued was transported to the emergency room of the Sulmona hospital where he is guarded by the Carabinieri who are reconstructing the dynamics of the murder. During the lockdown the man had left home for some time and was then found in a state of confusion, near the highway, closed in his car.
