“Sudden Lights”, Samantha Tina and temperamental tango music on Lake Liepaja – Music

Celebrating its five-year anniversary, Liepāja Lake Music is offering a special concert program this summer and invites you to three events: on July 31 to Sudden Lights, on August 14 to singer Samantas Tīna, and on August 29 to a jazz and academic music concert Astor Piacollas in the mood of Argentine temperamental sound.

This year, the concerts will take place in the waters of Lake Liepāja, in the adventure park “Austrumu forts” – in an unusual place with a peaceful natural atmosphere.

The new venue will allow people to experience concerts on the water in a leisurely atmosphere.

“This summer we want to give visitors different feelings. We have made sure that the concert becomes a whole adventure that can be remembered as one of the most beautiful events of this summer. “Eastern Fort” is a place where everyone will be able to enjoy not only music in nature, but also the relaxing environment of the island of Lake Liepāja, “says Irita Kalēja, project manager of” Liepāja Lake Music “.

The concert program will be opened by the group “Sudden Lights”. Its music is dominated by pop rock stylistics with an alternative mood. “Sudden Lights” songs are contagious and with dance melodies, you can also hear spiritually melancholic moods.

In the middle of August, “Liepāja Lake Music” will be performed by the owner of the strong voice Samanta Tīna together with “Liepaja Music Orchestra” and musician Jānis Ivuškāns, who will give the singer’s songs a particularly rich sound. Tonight, those present will be able to hear a selection of Samantha hits in new arrangements. The singer says about the upcoming event: “Liepāja is a fantastic place to meet again in a romantic atmosphere with energetic music.”

At the end of the summer, music connoisseurs will be addressed by an association of professional musicians, which will include accordionist Artūrs Noviks, violinist Annija Endija Kolerta, trumpet player Jānis Ivuškāns, keyboardist Ritvars Garoza, double bassist Mārtiņš Zālīte and percussionist Pauls Ķierpe. The concert “Cut into the Tango Lake” will be appreciated by those whose heart is close to the Argentine temperamental music and instrumental compositions of Astor Piazzolla and other authors.

Before and during the concert, the organizers of the event will provide an opportunity to buy summer cocktails and drinks at the Eastern Fort, as well as snacks and meals from Woodstock, Sin and other restaurants, bars and cafes.

Tickets for each of the concerts can be purchased on the website www.aula.lv. Ticket prices: from 15 to 25 euros. Depending on the wishes of the event visitor, the price includes a transfer trip from the center of Liepaja to the venue and back, as well as seating in one of the water vehicles – a comfortable 16-seater wide raft, a three-seater boat or an SUP board. It is also possible to buy seats in the sector on the island, which is surrounded by the waters of Lake Liepāja. Parking is available for those planning to travel to the event by car. You can also participate in the events with your own personal water vehicle (boat, SUP board, etc.). The venue is suitable for people with reduced mobility.
