Successful Mosel CleanUp | trier

When one speaks of the Moselle valley, many think of a relaxing holiday between grapevines and Moselle bends. Others prefer to unpack their rubbish tongs when they hear the word Moselle, because the banks of the Moselle and the river are involuntarily dumped in many places.

Thousands of volunteers came together over the weekend to clean up. According to the “CleanUp” organizers, a total of 320 tons of garbage were collected on the Rhine, Moselle and Ruhr: from bicycles to face masks.
