Styling Next Summer’s Bikinis: Casablanca’s Vibrant Collection Takes Inspiration from Nigeria

To the rhythm of a fiery soundtrack, including the track Addicted by Nigerian singer-songwriter, Rema, Casablanca presented its Spring Summer 2024 collection. The collection delivered some instant classics as Charaf Tajer does so well; color-blocking, dreamy tropical colorways, the perfect minidress for a night out, and accessories that looked cute enough to eat. The collection is already transporting us to next summer’s getaway suitcase.

“The Casablanca eye wanders in search of beauty, observing carefully and always eager to find a color, a moment, an expression of a time and place that mystifies and invigorates,” says Charaf Tajer. After his last collection “For the peace,” with a strong political message that paid tribute to Syrian youth, designed alongside Maya Chantoutthis season the designer celebrated Nigeria with his collection titled, “Day of Victory”. Communicating the magnetism of the country, Charaf Tajer, unveiled a multifaceted collection with a plethora of inspiration sources. The runway was graced with brightly colored branded tops, sequined dresses and skirts, translucent knits, breezy evening dresses, and graphic suits with a sportswear vibe.
