If you’re looking for a way to make your upcoming Nintendo Switch sports-action game stand out in a crowded market, consider enlisting the help of world-renowned anime studio, Studio Trigger. That’s exactly what Odyssey Interactive did with their free-to-play online 3v3 soccer game, Omega Strikers. With anime-looking athletes, including a slime girl, a gun-wielding lizard man, and a swole gerbil bear dude, this game stands out with its unconventional soccer regulation-breaking antics. To sell the energy of their roster of footballers, Odyssey Interactive turned to Studio Trigger to create a cool opening cinematic music video. With themes of defiance against authoritative organizations in their anime, such as Kill La Kill and Brand New Animal, it seems only fitting that Studio Trigger animated an opening cinematic that unites a group of outcasts on a mission to decimate their opponents. Omega Strikers releases on April 27 and is available for pre-order on various platforms.
