Student Kills in Kebayoran Leads to Suspect Status for Transwomen

Puzzles the death of a student with the initials I (22), whose body was found rotting in the Kebayoran Lama apartment, South Jakarta, is starting to find light. Police have identified a suspect in the case.

The body of I was found on Wednesday (8/6/2022), at around 11.00 WIB. The victim’s body was found in a semi-naked and decomposed condition.

The discovery of the victim’s body began when neighbors smelled a stench around the apartment. Officers then searched and found the origin of the stench from the victim’s room.

The police then conducted an investigation and collected a number of evidences at the location. As a result, one person has now been named a suspect.

6 Witnesses Examined

Police are still investigating the cause of death of female student I (22) whose body was found rotting half-naked in an apartment room in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. A total of 6 witnesses have been examined.

“So far, 6 witnesses have been examined,” said the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, when asked for confirmation, Monday (13/6).

Budhi said his party is still continuing to develop. The police are still waiting for the autopsy resultsenazah mahasiswi I who was found dead in his apartment.

“And it’s still in development. It’s still in the autopsy process,” he said.

Transwoman LL Becomes a Suspect

Police initially arrested transwoman LL less than 24 hours after the victim’s body was found. Transwoman LL was arrested in Serpong, South Tangerang, on Thursday (9/6).

Transwoman LL is known to be the last person with the victim before she died. LL was also caught on the apartment’s CCTV camera leaving the victim’s room.

The results of the investigation then decided that transwoman LL was a suspect in the case of the death of student I.

“Only one person has been named as a suspect,” said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday (15/6).

One suspect in the case is known to have the initials LL. The suspect LL is a trans woman who was arrested by the police on Thursday (9/6).

Zulpan has not disclosed the role of LL until he is named a suspect. He said the investigation into the case was still ongoing.
