The successful run of the Kuchler soccer coach, Gerhard Struber, continues. With his team Red Bull New York he has now reached the play-offs in the North American Major League Soccer.
Coach Gerhard Struber made it into the play-offs with Red Bull New York on the last day of the regular season of Major League Soccer (MLS). At Nashville SC, the cops of substitute Daniel Royer handed in a 1-1 draw on Sunday (local time) to prevail over DC United by a wafer-thin margin. The first opponent in the second phase of the season is the Philadelphia Union from November 20.

Struber also successful in New York
“That was always our goal for the season,” said Struber on the club’s website. After a poor start in the league, the former WAC and Barnsley coach and his team made it into the play-offs with 7 wins and 4 draws in the last 12 games. Struber, who has been working in the “Big Apple” since October 2020, sees his ideas slowly being implemented: “I think I can call at two o’clock in the morning and every player understands what we want,” said the 44-year-old from Salzburg.
