Strong storm hit San Rafael for the second day in a row

Yesterday afternoon a very intense storm developed again in the department, with a large amount of water that precipitated in about forty minutes.
Already on Saturday another storm had fallen, which included water and hail and mainly affected the Las Paredes district.
Flooded streets and falling power lines are some of the problems reported at the end of the newspaper. Civil Defense personnel were working in different sectors, assessing the damage and helping the neighbors.
Videos were circulated on social networks in some areas, such as Cuadro Benegas, Los Reyunos and La Cuesta de los Terneros, where the intense amount of water that ran and exceeded the routes was seen.
Meanwhile the meteorological alert was in force until last night.
According to the extended forecast, conditions will improve this week, with mostly sunny days. However, new storms are expected for Saturday and Sunday.
