Strong disagreement: Social network users talk about Samantina Tina’s “Eurovision” song – Show business

“The Moon is Rising” continues last year’s roadmap to the theme of the strong woman marked by the Eurovision song “Still Breathing”. Its authors are Samantha Tina, Aminata and the 20-year-old, promising producer SKVR (Oscar Wuhan).

The singer chose this single from eleven songs written especially for her. They were made last autumn at a two-day music writing camp, which was organized in cooperation with the Latvian Music Development Association / Latvian Music Export. Samanta chose local musicians and producers to work with, creating five teams of musicians who meet the specifics of the desired song.

After carefully listening to all the songs, the song written on the first day by SKVR fell into the heart of Samantha Tina. Significantly, when accepting participation in the camp, the new producer claimed that he would be the one to write Samantha Tina’s “Eurovision” song, and miraculously it happened.

The director and producer of the song’s video is Samanta Tīna in collaboration with Aiga Baikov (AiProduction). The operator is Ritvars Bluka, for whom the shooting of this clip was a special professional challenge, because the video was filmed with a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G phone. It was a novelty for him, because nothing like that has been done before, but the creative team is pleasantly surprised by the result and is proud to pass it on to Samantas listeners all over Europe.

The final of the 2021 International Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 22 May in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and the semi-finals will take place on 18 May and the second on 20 May. Latvian representative Samanta Tīna will take the stage in the second semi-final.

Roadmap for participation in the International Eurovision Song Contest Samanta Tīna won the songwriters ‘and performers’ competition “Supernova 2020”, where she won the song “Still Breathing”. The Eurovision Song Contest planned in Rotterdam last year was canceled due to the pandemic, so Latvian Television (LTV) has given Samanta the opportunity to participate in it this year.
