Baden-Württemberg’s interior minister and CDU state leader Thomas Strobl from Heilbronn is in the hospital due to a corona infection. According to the ministry, this was done as a precaution.
Strobl tested positive for Corona a week ago
A PCR test confirmed Strobl’s corona infection a week ago, when it was said to have mild cold symptoms. The minister had been working from the home office since then. A CDU spokeswoman emphasized at the time: Strobl was fully able to work and was doing his home office. Apparently, however, his health had not improved. As a precautionary measure, Strobl went to the hospital in connection with his corona infection, a spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior told SWR.
