With 2.1 per thousand of alcohol in his blood, a 39-year-old motorist threw himself against the wall of a house in Straßwalchen on Sunday morning, hit a parked car and finally crashed head-on into a lamppost.
According to initial police investigations, a 39-year-old motorist may have gone off the road with his vehicle in the early hours of the morning in Straßwalchen (Flachgau). The car was thrown against the wall of a house. As a result, his car was likely to have been thrown into the oncoming lane and hit a car parked in a parking lot before colliding head-on with a lamp post, according to a police report.

The Flachgauer was injured in the accident and taken to the UKH Salzburg after first aid from the Red Cross. A breathalyzer showed 2.1 per thousand. The driving license of the Flachgauer was provisionally taken on the spot.

The Straßwalchen fire brigade removes the lamppost
