Noah Schnapp, known for his role as Will Byers in the series Stranger Things, is out. The 18-year-old actor did it in a TikTok video.
“When I finally told my friends and family that I was gay after 18 years of closet scares and all they said was, ‘We know,’” Schnapp captioned his video.
The actor also writes that he “might be more like Will than you think.” TMZ reports that fans of the series have speculated for years about the orientation of the character Will Byers, due to his crush on Mike Wheeler, another character in the series. According to TMZ, Schnapp confirms the fan theory with his coming out.
