KOMPAS.com – Telly Saubaki Saudila never thought that the face of her son, Ananda Saubaki (7), would be printed on the special edition of the Rp. 75,000 note for independence.

Ananda is now in grade 2 SD Negeri Naikoten 1, Kota Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

The seven-year-old child is the third child of a married couple, Moris Saubaki and Telly Saubaki Saudila, a resident of Fatululi Village, Oebobo District, Kupang City.

Telly is proud of this achievement. Telly also told how her child’s face was printed on the special edition bills.

The photo was then sent to Bank Indonesia in Jakarta for selection.

Unexpectedly, Ananda was chosen to represent the NTT Bank Indonesia Representative Office in the selection.

On August 7, 2019, representatives of Perum Peruri came to Kupang to take pictures of their children.
