The Cnil gave the green light Tuesday, May 26 to the establishment of StopCovid, the contact tracking application for smartphones wanted by the government to fight the coronavirus epidemic.

This information should be specific for minors and parents of minors. The decree to be taken must, according to the Cnil, mention the right of opposition and the erasure of data. Finally, all of the source code for the application and the server must be left open. Part of it has already been made public.
