jpnn.com, FIELD – The puzzle of throwing stones at the masses during a demonstration against the Job Creation Law from above the Medan DPRD Building, North Sumatra, Thursday (8/10/2020) was finally revealed.
Police said two perpetrators showered the demonstrators with stones during the action. Both turned out to be security guards or security at the council building.
This was said by the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Pol Tatan Dirsan Atmaja.
“(Yes) security,” Tatan said briefly to the media at the Bhayangkara Medan Hospital, Monday (12/10/2020).
However, regarding the identity of the two perpetrators, Tatan was reluctant to go into details. “I don’t know the name,” he said.
Previously reported, a viral video was in the middle of the frenzy of the action which ended in chaos.
In which, the demonstrators recorded the action that the police initially suspected of provoking the crowd from the top of the Medan DPRD building, by throwing stones.
In the 17-second video, stones were seen several times floating from top to bottom, where the masses had gathered around Jalan Raden Saleh and Jalan Imam Bonjol to rush to the North Sumatra DPRD Building.
