Stocker to Kickl: “Right-wing extremism is not normal”

Loyalty to Russia, radical slogans and dividing society: that’s Kickl’s policy

Vienna (OTS) “Right-wing extremism is not normal, there are no ifs and buts,” said the general secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, in response to Kickl’s repeated verbal blunders.

“When Herbert Kickl speaks up from vacation, you know in advance that this is not a constructive contribution to the discussion. The designation of political competitors as ‘torture servants’ is once again an unacceptable transgression and proves once again that Kickl is not capable of governing. This choice of words corresponds to that of a hate preacher,” says Stocker.

“We learned one thing from the Covid 19 pandemic in particular: quick but well-considered action protects human lives. What did the blue chairman do meanwhile? Bitter substances recommended against Corona. And since then he’s cursed at Putin and demonized ‘Sky Shield’. That’s not normal – it’s the opposite: radical, extreme and dangerous to safety. It is therefore right and proper that Chancellor Karl Nehammer ruled out a coalition with Kickl. Kickl’s criticism of Minister Karoline Edtstadler once again clearly underlines this. His hate video from vacation proves that he has no substantive arguments and certainly no substantive plan. Subordination to Russia, radical slogans and dividing society: that is Kickl policy,” emphasizes the Secretary General in conclusion.
