MARKET REVIEW. Wall Street fell slightly early Wednesday as the rate on 10-year US Treasuries rebounded, putting pressure on several stock sectors, including technology.
The Toronto Stock Exchange also opened lower, albeit slightly, due to mixed results in its various sectors.
The clues
In Toronto, the S&P/TSX fell 22 points, or 0.12%, to 18,308 points.
In New York, the S&P 500 was down 12 points, or 0.32%, to 3,868 points.
The Dow Jones dropped 54 points, or 0.17%, to 31,482 points.
The Nasdaq lost 120 points, or 0.9%, to 13,344 points.
