Still on the terrace at 22:06: fines for cafes in Den Bosch

The Bossche catering bosses are furious, reports it Brabants Dagblad. Two police officers are said to have made films in the street on Friday evening at 22:06, because there were still guests on the terraces.

At 21:45 the bill

A day later, the police came again, with the announcement that a fine would follow. Much to the disbelief and anger of the cafe owners.

“People hear these relaxations and then forget that they will only take effect on Saturday 26 June. With us, people receive the bill no later than a quarter to ten. Unfortunately, not all terraces are empty at ten o’clock,” one of the entrepreneurs tells us. the Brabants Dagblad.

Have a drink

“All our guests had received the bill. But we are in a narrow street, it just takes a while before it is empty,” another pub owner told the newspaper. “And if people have had a drink, it is often more difficult for them to go home.”

The police could not say this morning how many restaurants have been fined. The amount of the fine is not yet known. But it can be very expensive: the maximum fine for catering establishments that violate the corona rules is 4000 euros.
