Still infections at Casa Serena, the virus does not stop: two new asymptomatic positives

PORDENONE – At Casa Serena the virus has not yet been defeated. Yesterday, in fact, two other positive cases were traced: it is a health worker and an elderly guest of the Pordenone facility. They are both asymptomatic. The elderly person has already been transferred to the Sacile Rsa, while the operator is in home isolation as per the procedure. Both people found positive yesterday are part of the nucleus of the retirement home called “Castello”, which is located on the first floor of the structure. The infections, in this case, are disconnected from the outbreak on the third floor, but still cause concern, because apparently the virus has spread over the last ten days in several areas of Casa Serena. Most of the cases were located in the nucleus called “Ponte”, where the slightly symptomatic operator tracked down on Friday also worked. This is the only case that currently shows some small signs (however manageable at home) of the disease. All the elderly, including the guest who was transferred to hospital in Udine as a precaution, are doing well, although some previous clinical pictures have recommended closer surveillance for the possible onset of Covid-19 symptoms.
