Steam Awards 2023 Nominations: Valve Announces Game Titles for Voting

Valve announced the game titles that the Steam community nominated for Steam Awards 2023. They include hits such as Baldur’s Gate III, Lies of P, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4, Diablo IV, Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield. Interestingly, Bethesda’s work has a chance to win the award for the most innovative gameplay.

We met titles of games nominated for Steam Awards 2023. These include Baldur’s Gate III, Lies of P, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4, The Last of Us: Part I, EA Sports FC 24, Starfield (interestingly, Bethesda’s work has a chance to win the award for the most innovative gameplay), Diablo IV, Hogwarts Legacy and even Red Dead Redemption II. There is no Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Are we dealing with controversy? Where from – at least some Internet users they seem be outraged. CD Projekt Red’s work could not be nominated for two reasons:

We will be able to vote for the best items during the winter sale on Valve’s platform, which will start on December 21, 2023 at. 7:00 p.m. Polish time and will end at that time on January 4, 2024 – but you can only vote until January 2. Valve released an announcement trailer today (below).
