In June, the average salary increased by more than 800 hryvnia compared to May and reached a record.
At the end of June, the average salary in Ukraine increased by 814 hryvnia to 14,313 hryvnia, which is $ 525 in dollar terms. This was reported by the State Statistics Service on Wednesday, July 28.

According to the ministry, the average salary for the first time exceeded $ 500.

Over the year, the salary increased by 23.6%. Real wages (adjusted for inflation) increased by 12.9% over the year.

The highest salary in June was in Kiev – UAH 20,455, the lowest – in the Kirovograd region – UAH 11,497.
The fastest growing wages were in the sector of temporary accommodation and catering – by 71.3% to UAH 8,922.

This is followed by Arts, sports, entertainment and recreation – 39.5% up to 13 260 hryvnia, information and telecommunications – 38.4% up to 26 197 hryvnia, health care and social assistance – 36.7% up to 12 090 hryvnia, in Education – by 31.3% to UAH 14,158.
The lowest growth rates in the industry are Transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities – by 14.0% to UAH 12,984.
