Three married women living in the same house in different and distant time periods, have in them a common denominator, which is having to make similar fateful decisions to overcome the problems and challenges facing their lives.
This is the story of the Egyptian series “Sattat Beit El Maadi”, which is the Arabic version of the comedy series “Why Women Kill”, and it will be broadcast starting Sunday on the screen of “MBC Egypt”.
Betrayal..
The betrayal of husbands towards their wives is the backbone of the work events, even if they occur in different eras, as the story sheds light on the life of a housewife who lived in the 1960s.
There is a society woman living in the 1980s, while the third heroine lives in the present, and they share similar circumstances regarding their relationship with their husbands.
The events of the play also take place in a comic framework classified as a black comedy, following the similarity of the wives’ reactions to the question of treason, despite the difference in time, way of life, circumstances and tools.
Through the images of the work, Kinda Alloush appears in the Sixties, while Tara Imad represents the character who lives in the present, while Engy El Mokadem plays the role of a society woman in the Eighties.
An elite group of stars
Interestingly, the director, Mohamed Salama is directing the series, which stars Kinda Alloush, Engy Al-Moqaddam, Mirhan Hussein, Tara Emad and Sabri Fawaz.
It is broadcast daily from Sunday to Thursday at 21:00 local Cairo time.
