Starting Monday (28/9), IDX will extend trading hours for debt securities and sukuk

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) adjusts the trading time of debt securities and sukuk and reporting time. This stipulation is effective on Monday, 28 September 2020.

This is a step to follow up the letter from the Head of the Capital Market Supervision Department 2A of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regarding the order to adjust the reporting time in the Securities Transaction Report Recipient System (PLTE), trading hours of debt securities and sukuk on the stock exchange and in alternative markets.

And in connection with the announcement of Bank Indonesia (BI) regarding the policy to adjust the operational schedule and public services of Bank Indonesia towards a new era of normality.

The schedule for trading debt securities and sukuk through the Fixed Income Trading System (FITS) becomes:

Session I (Monday-Thursday): 09.30 – 12.00
Session II (Monday-Thursday): 13.30 – 16.00
Session I (Friday): 09.30 – 11.30
Session II (Friday): 14.00 – 16.00

Trade in Government Securities (SUN) on the Electronic Trading Platform (ETP) system is 09.00 – 16.00. From previously closed at 15.00.

Securities transaction reporting through PLTE becomes 09.0-16.30, from previously closed at 15.30.
