The Mayor Massimo Medri and the councilor for health Bianca Maria Manzi today, 24 February, went to the Health House of the “San Giorgio” Hospital in Cervia, where they were administered the first doses of Pfizer vaccine to those born before 1936.
“After weeks of waiting – declared the Mayor and the Councilor Manzi – the first 120 elderly people were vaccinated this afternoon at the San Giorgio Hospital, an important result for this city and which the citizens were waiting for with trepidation. From today the vaccinations of our elderly will be carried out in Cervia and it is an event of particular importance for the city, which will be remembered as the first step towards the victory of the virus. We need to get back to normal as soon as possible and for this reason every vaccine administered, every fragile person protected, is a great success. We now hope to be able to speed up the administration and put all our elderly people in safety as soon as possible. “
