Bethesda Game Studios released on Steam the promised beta version of a big update Starfield. To receive the update, you need to switch to the beta branch in the game properties. A full release of the patch is expected before the end of November.
Update Starfield added support for DLSS, DLAA, low latency Reflex and frame generation. To use the latter, you need to disable vertical sync. In the future, the option will be adjusted automatically.
Added the ability to immediately consume food and drinks instead of adding them to inventory – for example, players can immediately eat food on the table or take it into their backpack for the future
Fixed a number of problems related to memory leaks, optimized the video card, improved rendering and CPU usage, especially on high-end systems
Stealth made more “forgiving”

Fixed a rare issue where the main ship could be lost
Fixed an issue that could cause the ship maintenance technician to be missing
Fixed an issue where mouse movement could be choppy
Optimized the initial compilation of shaders
Improved eye appearance for ordinary NPCs
Addressed a number of minor visual issues related to lighting, shadows, terrain and vegetation
