Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Actor Cal Kestis Reveals What He Wants From The Sequel

According to various reports, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is not only in the works, but may be revealed and released this year. However, these are just reports and rumours. Officially, the sequel has not been announced. If Cameron Monaghan, the actor behind lead Cal Kestis, has his way, a sequel will be made and it will explore a darker, older side of Cal.

Speaking during a recent interview, Kestis didn’t mention that a sequel was in development, but he did talk about a hypothetical sequel and what he’d like to see from it, noting that he wants to see the character in “very different situations” and see “how he changes to as you age.”

“It was an absolute privilege to be able to be part of the canon Star Wars universe,” Monaghan said while speaking with CBR. “I think Cal is a great addition to Star Wars, and I love how focused Cal is and how his first story in Jedi: Fallen Order it was an exploration of trauma and loss, and in many ways, overcoming PTSD. I thought that was such an interesting aspect to bring to Star Wars. In the future, I would very much like to see us continue to explore Cal, and also put him in very different situations, and see how he changes as he gets older, as he gets older through a very dark period.”

Again, this is all hypothetical, officially. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that we’re about to see Cal in very different situations and see him grow and change through a dark period.
