The Star Trek: Lower Decks series won’t start until next year.
One more month until we see the second season of Star Trek: Lower Decks get to see. And the streaming service Paramount+ celebrates that with a short teaser for the season.
A fifteen-second teaser appeared on Twitter, which we also got to see via YouTube. This one promises a lot of cool in the upcoming second season.
The second season
In the fifteen-second teaser, we see Ensign Mariner and Boimler in their Starfleet uniforms trying to make a quick escape via a vehicle. On board they have a bunch of silhouettes that look like Data.
Would Data have been given a bunch of statues in his honor after his sacrifice for humanity in the movie Star Trek: Nemesis? Time will tell:

The last time we saw Boimler, he had literally jumped off the ship. He joined the USS Titan, where Boimler went to work for Captain William Piker.
