Stanimir Baev is the candidate for mayor of BSP in Burgas

Stanimir Baev was elected as a candidate for mayor of the Socialists in Burgas Municipality in the upcoming local elections.

This happened during the XXII municipal conference of the BSP – Burgas, which was held today in the seaside city.

The delegates of the conference also determined who will be the candidates for municipal councilors.

They are twenty-three in all. The list leader will be Stanimir Baev, followed by Chanko Mirchev, Hristo Panayotov and Zhivko Gospodinov. Nikolay Tishev is fifth, Lyuben Chardakov sixth.

Seventh place is taken by the women’s leader – socialist Tinka Zhelyazkova. In eighth position is Evgenia Karaicheva.

The conference was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov and the People’s Representative from the PG of the “BSP for Bulgaria” Coalition, Eng. Petar Kanev.

During the forum, an evaluation of the work of BSP municipal councilors in the local parliament was adopted and a municipal pre-election platform was approved for participation in the 2023 local elections.

Candidates for mayors of several settlements in the municipality were also elected – in Bulgarovo – Ivan Ganev, in Ravnets – Konstantin Georgiev and in Bryastovets – Evgenia Botushanska.
