Stalin’s Global Conquest: The Ambitions of the Neo-Soviet Regime

A war waged by the country with the largest nuclear arsenal against the largest country in Europe brings to mind the antecedents of the current neo-Soviet regime in Moscow. A little-known fact – after the victory over Germany, Stalin was preparing “the last and decisive battle” – of course, not for the purpose of self-sacrifice. Not dominating the world, but ruling the world was his life’s goal for decades.

Back in the years of the Civil War, when the Red Army was marching towards Warsaw, Stalin advised Lenin in the Comintern to “raise the question of organizing an uprising in Italy and in such countries that have not yet consolidated, for example, Hungary and the Czech Republic (Romania will have to be defeated). Obviously, the concrete plan is to seize several countries, was only a harbinger of further conquests – not a European, but a global “dictatorship of the proletariat” in 1917-1920, was on the lips of the Bolshevik leadership, including the People’s Commissar for Nationalities.

Having already become a “one-man ruler”, in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, Stalin regularly and thunderously preached the world revolution and even the “inevitability” of war with the capitalist world. On September 9, 1927, in a conversation with a delegation of American workers, he gave a transparent hint about the upcoming clash directly with the United States: “In the course of the further development of the international revolution and international reaction, two world-wide centers will emerge: the socialist center for socialism and the capitalist center, which will unite the countries that strive to capitalism. The struggle between these two camps will decide the fate of capitalism and socialism throughout the world.”

In the mid-1930s, a large-scale program for the construction of an ocean-going fleet was launched, which was suspended at the beginning of World War II, when the relevant resources and materials were diverted to the production of weapons and ammunition for land forces. However, even as the battle with Nazism, fascism and the Japanese junta loomed, Stalin’s sights were not limited to Eurasia
