Staffan Hildebrand – Stands out as an abuser

It reports Expressen.

The director (75), known for the 80s youth films «G» and «Stocholmsnatt» says in the book that he regrets and realizes that he «made a mistake». In the book, several people talk about how Staffan Hildebrand had sex with young boys several decades ago.

With promises of film roles, travel abroad and work in various projects, Hildebrand is said to have raped two boys aged 13 and 15 years.

– I was a child. He ruined my whole life, says the 13-year-old boy in the book, according to a Swedish newspaper.

– Made a mistake

The book is written by Sören “Sulo” Karlsson, musician and author, together with the researcher Deanne Rauscher – mainly known as co-author of “Carl XVI Gustaf – the reluctant monarch”.

The authors have interviewed a large number of people who describe how Staffan Hildebrand in his apartments in Stockholm surrounded himself with young boys whom he in some cases attracted by offering film roles.

According to Expressen, the book describes how his home was open to his “young friends”, who often lived at his home, and let them party in his apartments. Often, according to the authors behind the book, it was boys who came from troubled homes.

– Not love

In the book, Staffan Hildebrand wants to express his love for the youngest of the boys.

– He may see it as love, I see it as a sick act, the boy answers via Expressen.

The boys say that they have suffered mentally for several years as a result of Hildebrand’s abuse. The youngest who stands out today is over 60 years old.
