A student from St. Petersburg lost his savings after strangers visited his house. Fontanka became aware of this on May 30.
The victim is a 20-year-old sophomore from ITMO, the owner of an apartment on Kolomyazhsky Prospekt. According to him, on May 29, an unknown person stole 143 thousand rubles, which were stored in a rack in one of the rooms.
The police spoke with an 18-year-old neighbor – they live together. The guy said that at 12 o’clock he was returning home and met a stranger on the landing. He noticed him and went to the back stairs. The young man went to the door of the apartment and saw that it was open. When he entered the corridor, he met another stranger who used physical force, sprayed pepper spray and disappeared.
Cameras at the entrance to the front door and in the elevator captured two men, 25-30 years old in appearance. One of them was wearing an Olympian with the inscription “Russia” and a medical mask on his face. A criminal case has been initiated under the second part of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”).
