Today (15/4) the perpetrator of the murder of Kyriaki Grivas, who he killed outside the Agioi Anargyro police station, was taken to Korydallos prisons, in order to remain in the psychiatric ward of the prison.

The 36-year-old was transferred there after being discharged from the Janeio hospital. In Korydallos prisons he will be in a specially designed room under constant surveillance.

The 39-year-old’s aunt spoke to LIVE NEWS about the case and the perpetrator.

“We are not asking for acquittal”

“No one did anything to prevent it and there were so many people there. Our lives are not the same anymore and we are devastated. I would love to give Kiki’s mom a hug, a hug that she can’t give her. Apart from the perpetrator, however, everyone must be punished. The child usually harmed himself.

When the family went to many doctors to save their child, they all said he was suicidal. None of us expected that he is capable of teasing another human being. I expected him to kill himself, not that he would do harm. We are not asking for an acquittal. To be tried for the life he took. He should be tried and pay for the murder he did and not for the place where he did it,” he said.

“There is misinformation”

“The family wants the opinions to be done correctly and to go where they will judge. It’s a shame that a piece of information comes out and it doesn’t come out complete.

There is misinformation about pregnancy. Thanasis did not raise a hand, but Kiki decided to have an abortion accompanied by her mother.

The perpetrator loved the child very much. He did not expel for beating. He set out to hurt himself.

“We are afraid that he will try again”

None of his relatives have seen the perpetrator. His mother was beaten in Janeio because they wouldn’t let her see her child and wouldn’t let her in even for a minute.
