The South Korean car manufacturer SsangYong scores points with Czech motorists especially with the Korando model, which was purchased by over 1,300 interested parties in the first seven months of this year alone. The Tivoli and the larger Tivoli Grand are currently collecting dozens of registrations on our market, but they could be kicked off by the newly revealed facelift, which brings several interesting novelties.
Tivoli has undergone rejuvenation, which you can recognize mainly on the bow. Its concept is inspired by the more adventurous Torres, the mask is uniform and the brand logo is completely absent. This car is comparable in size to the Škoda Kamiq or the Hyundai Kona, but unlike them, it adds the option of four-wheel drive to its raised body and decent ground clearance.
The engine is the only one on offer – a turbocharged 15-litre petrol engine with an output of 163 horsepower and 280 newton meters of torque, i.e. the same four-cylinder as in the Korand or Torres. A six-speed manual is standard, but an Aisin automatic transmission can be purchased for an additional charge of CZK 35,900. All-wheel drive costs an additional 39,900 CZK, but it remains reserved only for the smaller Tivoli, the Grand is always front-wheel drive.

The standard equipment is certainly rich, including six airbags, cruise control, air conditioning or a leather multifunction steering wheel. Worth noting is the Style+ package for CZK 30,000, which adds sixteen-inch light alloy wheels, heated steering wheel and front seats, roof rails in black, and an eight-inch multimedia system screen.
In the Tivoli Grand, the package of the same name also has six-pointers and heating of the steering wheel and seats, but also glass with increased tinting or rear parking sensors and two-zone automatic air conditioning. And be careful, in the case of a larger model, the Style+ package is free as part of the promotional offer! In addition, the SUV-combo is enticing with a huge luggage space, the Grand offers 720 liters as standard, which can be expanded to 1,440 liters if necessary by folding down the rear seats. After all, even the trunk of the Octavia Combi, which many consider to be bottomless, can hold eighty liters less.

We won’t bore you any further, what about the purchase prices? The facelifted Tivoli starts at 439,900 CZK, the larger Tivoli Grand costs at least 479,900 CZK. Even with some extra equipment, you won’t be far from the half-million mark.
