Spotify rolls out song downloads for offline use on Apple Watch – Tablets and phones – News

Spotify has started rolling out a feature that allows users to listen to music on their Apple Watch offline. Several tweakers report that that feature is more widely available after it was announced a month and a half ago.

On the Apple Watch topic on GoT several users report that they have been seeing the feature coming in since Wednesday evening. The feature isn’t working for all users yet, so it seems to be rolling out gradually among users. The update is in version 8.6.40.1248 of Spotify for the wearable. according to other media users from all over the world will get the feature, not only in Europe but also in the US and in Brazil.

Users can stream the songs offline in 96kbit/s. A minimum of an Apple Watch Series 3 or later is required, with a minimum of WatchOS 6.0. Also, users must have a Spotify Premium subscription.
