Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter. All channels that have a Stories function. Spotify was one of the few apps that didn’t have one yet. But that has now changed. Some of the music service’s playlists have recently added stories.
Anyone who is already in the festive mood and occasionally listens to Christmas music may have already discovered the new function. The Christmas Hits list, among other things, has been enriched with Stories.
The function works a bit differently than with Facebook or Instagram. Unlike those channels, you cannot add a story yourself here. Only artists who can be found in the playlist get that chance. For the Christmas Hits that are for example Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix.
According to Engadget, this is still a test. It is not yet known whether there will be more Stories soon. We also do not know whether you will soon be able to add stories yourself.
