Aspace Castilla y León will hold a gala on December 30, through Facebook, to promote the edition of the solidarity book ‘The Crown comes to Aspace’, which will cost 10 euros, with the proceeds of which will be distributed among all centers from the organization in the Community, epis and masks will be acquired. The event will begin at 7 pm and will feature videos full of stories, songs, entertainment, an interview and some more surprises. The book can be purchased at any of the cerebral palsy entities of Castilla y León, by contacting 983 246798 or at [email protected].
It is a “little gem” of publishing and an “important testimony of the time we live in.” In addition, the association pointed out, “there is no such publication in all of Spain”, of an “effort to make a group visible and move forward”.
This illustrated book nicely narrates the reality of the pandemic and its characters have four “clear” objectives: to entertain, have therapeutic value after the past, make a grateful tribute to the people of Aspace and help raise funds for the purchase of epis .
You can see the coronavirus turned into a clumsy pirate, Corona, who will encourage perseverance and create support networks for those most in need. Next to him are Parrot and Butterfly. The latter is an allegory for Aspace and her care duty. The texts are by Manuel Ferrero and the illustration by Pablo Je Je, edited by Cultural Norte.
