Splashy Rumors of Sex Party in British Cathedral, Vatican Begins Investigation

London

Vatican is investigating the rumors of the holding’sex party‘ in one of the cathedrals in the area English. Activities that are not supposed to be held in the cathedral allegedly took place when England was under lockdown virus Corona (COVID-19) a few years ago.

As reported The GuardianWednesday (25/1/2023), as part of the Vatican’s investigation into the circumstances surrounding the resignation of Robert Byrne as Bishop of Hexham and New Castle, the Vatican is also investigating claims that one of the priests invited congregations to a private party at his residence.

Many people reportedly complained that Father Michael McCoy who is a Deacon of Newcastle Cathedral, approached and asked them to attend a party when gatherings are banned in England.

“Several complaints were made by individuals within the diocese after information came to light about a sex party being held in the priests’ residential area connected to Newcastle Cathedral,” a local diocesan source told the BBC. Sunday Times.

McCoy, 57, committed suicide in April 2021, or four days after learning he was being investigated by the Northumbria Police Department of Child and Adult Protection for alleged child sexual abuse.

It is known that McCoy was appointed by Byrne in 2019, to replace Pastor Dermott Donnelly.

However there is no indication that Byrne also attended the party. Byrne had resigned as bishop in December last year, arguing that his position “had become too much of a burden”.
